Frequently asked questions

Which destinations can I charter a yacht in?

We charter across the Eastern Mediterranean — Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Montenegro — from the sheltered gulets routes of the Turkish Aegean and the Greek islands to the Dalmatian coast. Each destination page lists the bays, ports and marinas you can sail to.

When is the best time to go on a yacht charter?

The season runs from late April to late October. July and August are the warmest and busiest; May, June, September and early October offer calm seas, pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds — ideal for a relaxed cruise.

What is the difference between a private charter and a cabin charter?

A private charter gives you the whole yacht and crew exclusively for your group, with a flexible route. A cabin charter lets you book individual cabins on a shared yacht following a set weekly itinerary — a more affordable way to join a blue cruise.

How do I choose the right destination?

Consider the sailing style you want: the Gulf of Gökova and the Greek islands suit calm-water, short-hop cruising ideal for families and first-timers, while longer passages and lively harbours are found further along the coast. Browse each destination's guide for anchorages, dining and activities.

Do I need a sailing licence or experience?

No. All of our yachts are fully crewed — a captain and crew handle the sailing, navigation and daily running of the boat, so no licence or prior experience is required. You simply enjoy the journey.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak weeks in July and August we recommend booking several months ahead, as the best yachts and dates sell out early. For shoulder-season cruises in May, June, September and October there is usually more availability, but earlier booking still gives the widest choice.
