Logistics & Technical

Orebić is situated on the Pelješac Channel, directly opposite Korčula. The main harbor is dominated by ferry traffic, so private yachts usually find berths in the smaller marina to the west or at available seasonal moorings. The high Sveti Ilija mountain provides excellent protection from the northerly Bora winds, though the harbor can be exposed to southerly Jugo. Be mindful of the currents in the channel while maneuvering.
