Logistics & Technical

Anchoring is nearly impossible inside the Caldera due to depths reaching 400m. Yachts use private moorings or the Vlychada Marina in the south. Vlychada is protected but has a shallow entrance. Expect heavy ferry traffic inside the Caldera.
