On the northeastern tip sits Lefkas Marina, one of the most modern facilities in the region, offering full water, electricity, fuel, and technical services. On the eastern coast, the massive Nidri (Vlycho) Bay functions as a perfectly calm, lake-like inner sea, providing flawless holding on a muddy bottom during severe gales.
