What is a Cabin Charter?

A cabin charter is a “by-the-cabin” yacht rental. Instead of chartering an entire private yacht, you book an individual cabin, much like a hotel room, on a shared vessel. This is the perfect way to enjoy a Blue Cruise experience on a professional gulet without the cost of a full private charter.

How does it differ from a Private Charter?

In a private charter, you rent the whole boat for your group. In a cabin charter, you share the yacht's common areas — like the deck, dining area, and salons — with other travelers from around the world, making it a social and budget-friendly alternative.

What are the cabins like?

Most cabins on our standard gulets are designed for two people, typically featuring a Double or Twin bed configuration. Premium gulets also have Triple cabins. Every cabin includes a private en-suite bathroom (WC and shower) and storage space for your belongings.

Is there air conditioning?

AC usage varies by the specific cruise program and yacht category. Generally, air conditioning is run for a specific number of hours per day (usually 6–8 hours) to ensure comfort during the hottest parts of the day or before sleep. Please check your specific itinerary details for AC availability.

The vibe on a yacht cruise is casual and relaxed. We recommend: - Soft-shell luggage (hard suitcases are difficult to store in cabins). - Swimwear, sun protection (biodegradable sunscreen preferred), and hats. - Rubber-soled shoes for deck use or “boat shoes”. - A light jacket for cooler evenings at sea. - Your own beach towels (though bath towels are provided).

Yes, most cabin charter programs are “Full Board”. This typically includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/cookies, and dinner. Our onboard chefs prepare Mediterranean-style cuisine using fresh, local ingredients.

How are drinks handled?

Drinks (including soft drinks and alcohol) are usually not included in the charter price and are sold at the onboard bar. Drinking water is included. To keep things simple, we use a tab system where you pay your bar bill at the end of the cruise. Note: Bringing your own drinks from outside is generally not permitted on cabin charters.

Do we cruise every day?

Yes, the yacht will typically cruise for 2 to 4 hours daily, stopping in secluded bays, turquoise coves, and charming coastal villages. Most of the time is spent moored for swimming, snorkeling, or exploring land-side sights. Please note that sailing is not always possible.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. The Captain has the authority to change the route or the harbor of departure/arrival based on wind and sea conditions.

Is there Wi-Fi on board?

While many of our yachts are equipped with Wi-Fi, connection speeds can be inconsistent when cruising in remote bays or moving between islands. It is best to enjoy the “digital detox”, but 4G/5G signals are usually available near the coast.

Can I join a cabin charter alone?

Absolutely! Cabin charters are very popular with solo travelers. Please note that a “Single Supplement” fee (usually 60%–70% extra) applies if you wish to have a cabin to yourself. Otherwise, cabins are sold per person based on double occupancy.

Are children allowed?

To ensure the comfort and relaxation of all guests, many cabin charters have an age limit (often 10+). However, we do offer specific family-friendly routes. Please contact us to find the best fit for your family.
