BARBAROS YACHTING – CANCELLATION / REFUND / CHANGE POLICY

This Cancellation / Refund / Change Policy ("Policy") regulates the principles regarding reservation cancellation, date change, price refund, and service conditions for boat/yacht rental services offered by Barbaros Yachting ("Company").
The User/BUYER who creates a reservation or makes a payment through the Platform is deemed to have accepted the provisions of this Policy.
1) IMPORTANT INFORMATION (MAY VARY BY RESERVATION)
1.1.Boat/yacht rental services may contain different terms depending on variables such as season, boat type, route, number of people, campaign, special days, port conditions, and boat owner's rules.
1.2.Therefore, cancellation / refund / change conditions may be determined specifically for each reservation. The conditions presented to the User/BUYER before reservation confirmation or at the payment step are the valid terms for the relevant reservation.
1.3.The Company reserves the right to update the provisions of this Policy based on operational requirements, procurement/crew planning, port rules, or boat owner conditions. Updates take effect on the date published on the Platform.
1.4.However, in case of updates, the cancellation/refund/change conditions valid for the reservation confirmed and finalized by the BUYER are taken as the basis.
(No retroactive changes are applied for the relevant reservation.)
2) RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
2.1.A reservation is considered confirmed when:
2.2.Requests made before reservation confirmation are considered "pre-requests" and are not binding.
3) CANCELLATION CONDITIONS (GENERAL FRAMEWORK)
The following conditions are a general example framework. Different rates may be applied for specific reservations.
3.1.Based on Time Remaining Until Service Date
Exact rates are specified separately in the reservation/quotation form.
4) DEPOSIT / ADVANCE PAYMENT RULE
4.1.Deposit/advance payment may be taken for securing the reservation and closing the boat for sale on the relevant dates.
4.2.Unless explicitly stated otherwise, deposit/advance payment may not be refunded.
5) DATE CHANGE (RESERVATION CHANGE)
5.1.If the BUYER wishes to change the reservation date, they should apply to the Company in writing.
5.2.Date change may be accepted or rejected depending on boat availability, seasonal density, and operational planning.
5.3. In date change:
5.4.Date change does not create a cancellation right.
6) NO-SHOW / LATE ARRIVAL
6.1.If the BUYER is not present at the specified location at the service time or does not participate in the service, it is considered a no-show and a refund may not be made.
6.2.In case of late arrival, the service duration may be shortened; in this case, a refund may not be made.
7) CANCELLATION / CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS AND SAFETY
7.1.The captain, port authority, or the Company may decide on route change, time change, or service postponement for security reasons.
7.2.In such cases, the Company may offer one of:
8) FORCE MAJEURE
Natural disaster, storm, war, strike, pandemic, port closure, official authority decisions, technical failures, etc. are considered force majeure.
In case of force majeure, the Company may not be able to provide the service or may change it. Refund/postponement conditions are determined based on the nature of the event.
9) REFUND PROCESS AND PAYMENT METHOD
9.1.If a refund is decided, payment is refunded:
9.2.Bank/payment institution commissions, exchange differences, and charges may affect the refund amount.
9.3.Refund duration may vary depending on banks' transaction times.
10) CANCELLATION OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES (TRANSFER / FOOD / APA, etc.)
10.1.Additional services such as transfer, food and beverages, decoration, special organization, water sports equipment may be subject to separate cancellation conditions as they may be procured from third parties.
10.2.Cancellation/refund for these services may vary according to supplier rules.

12) VALIDITY
This Policy takes effect on the date it is published on the Platform.
