Sunken Bath

Sunken Bath is one of the most enchanting and historical stops in the Gulf of Gocek. An essential part of yacht charter and blue cruise itineraries, the bay is famous for its ancient Roman bath ruins submerged in the water. Legend has it that these structures were built for Cleopatra, offering visitors the chance to swim through history. Surrounded by pine and olive trees, the bay's turquoise waters and high sea quality make it a unique anchorage point. Batık Hamam provides excellent shelter from almost all winds due to its high, pine-clad mountains. The bay is deep but offers several spots for stern-to mooring with long lines to the shore (med-moor). The holding is generally good on a sandy and weedy bottom, making it a safe and tranquil spot for a multi-day stay.
