Logistics & Technical

Aquarium Bay is a popular but narrow anchorage. The holding is excellent on a sandy bottom, though space can be limited during peak hours. It provides good shelter from moderate winds, but because it’s often open to certain swells, it is best enjoyed as a daytime stop. Professional captains prefer to drop anchor early in the morning to secure the best spot in the center of the "pool."
