The inner harbor basin features depths ranging from 3.5 to 6 meters, with a seabed composed predominantly of thick mud and weed, offering excellent holding characteristics for anchoring or stern-to mooring. The harbor provides exceptional, all-round protection from prevailing summer NW Maistros winds and winter gales due to its landlocked topography. Navigators must maintain a low speed to prevent wake within the basin and monitor VHF Channel 69 for berthing instructions.
