Red Island is a captivating stop located at the entrance of Fethiye Bay, famous for the reddish color its sands take during sunset. Kızılada provides a strategic anchorage, particularly on its eastern side which is sheltered from the prevailing northwesterly winds. The water depth increases rapidly, offering a "deep blue" experience. While it can be open to some swell, the holding is firm on a sandy and rocky bottom. It is a preferred stop for yachts looking for a refreshing breeze and clear, open-sea conditions.
