Butterfly Valley is a world-renowned natural wonder located near Oludeniz, surrounded by steep cliffs. As one of the most iconic stops on yacht charter and blue cruise itineraries, the valley takes its name from the dozens of endemic butterfly species it hosts. It enchants visitors with its turquoise sea, white sandy beach, and a small waterfall flowing from the depths of the valley. Known for its high sea quality and untouched atmosphere, the local establishments on the shoreline offer guests natural flavors in a peaceful environment.

The anchorage is an open roadstead with a steep bathymetric gradient, dropping rapidly to depths exceeding 25 meters. The seabed is a mix of coarse sand and boulders, offering moderate holding. It is highly exposed to the prevailing NW winds and westerly swells, making it suitable only for day visits or overnight stays in calm, settled weather. Navigators must maintain a safe distance from the northern cliffs due to occasional rockfall.
