PRIVATE YACHT CHARTERS BOOKING
PAYMENT TERMS:
- A deposit of 35% of the total charter rate is required upon confirmation of booking.
- The remaining balance of the charter fee is due no later than 2 months prior to the embarkation date.
- APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance), if available, is payable 30 days before boarding the yacht.
CANCELLATION TERMS:
- Cancellations made prior to 60 days before the departure date: Deposit payment is not refundable.
- Cancellations within 60 days of the departure date will result in the total charter fee being charged.
- In the event that the yacht owner can re-let the yacht to another charterer under the same price and conditions, the charterer will be fully refunded. Partial refunds may apply if the owner re-lets the yacht for only a portion of the cancelled dates or at a less favorable rate than agreed.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Boat Substitution:
- Barbaros Yachting reserves the right to operate the cruise program with an alternative boat of equal or higher standard. In such cases, passengers are not entitled to a refund.
- Cruise Interruption:
- Barbaros Yachting may cancel any cruise due to force majeure circumstances.
- If the cruise is disrupted for more than 48 hours due to machinery breakdown, fire, grounding, or collision, passengers will receive a refund proportionate to the unoperated cruise days. No further claims will be accepted.
- Legal Jurisdiction:
- Barbaros Yachting, being a Turkish company, agrees that any interpretation of these terms and conditions will be resolved solely according to Turkish laws in Turkish courts.
- Responsibilities:
- Barbaros Yachting is responsible for all arrangements specified in the services and itineraries.
- However, beyond the boat, any arrangements made by passengers before boarding or when disembarking are at their own risk.
- Barbaros Yachting does not control ground transportation or hotels.
- While we offer land excursions or other services operated by independent contractors, we disclaim responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or death arising from these services.
- Rest assured, our boat services come with the Barbaros Yachting guarantee and responsibility.
ADDITIONAL TERMS & INFORMATION:
- Travel Documents and Legal Compliance:
- All travel documents issued by Barbaros Yachting, whether in written form or provided to the customer, are subject to the terms and conditions specified by Turkish laws.
- Barbaros Yachting reserves the right to cancel the entire tour without a refund if the number of passengers exceeds the booking capacity or the boat’s capacity.
- Insurance:
- All boats are covered by fully comprehensive and third-party insurances.
- The insurance includes medical expenses in case of injury on board during the cruise and covers the cost of personal belongings in accidents at sea.
- However, please note that the insurance does not extend beyond the boat. We recommend that passengers have their own personal travel, health, accident, cancellation, luggage, and trip-interruption insurance.
- Force Majeure:
- We do not accept liability for loss, damage, or expenses resulting from war, terrorist activities, civil unrest, industrial action, weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, harbor and airport regulations, unforeseen alterations to public transport schedules, or any other events beyond our control.
- Clients are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of the countries visited during the tour.
- Complaints:
- If any complaints arise during the tour, please report them to your Captain immediately. The Captain will contact the representative you met during the embarkation briefing from Barbaros Yachting.
- All complaints must be submitted in writing directly to Barbaros Yachting Head Office Customer Services. These complaints should be received by Barbaros Yachting within 21 days of completing the tour related to the complaint.
- Complaints received by the company more than 21 days after the end of the cruise will not be acknowledged.
- Additionally, please ensure that you fill out and submit your personal guest questionnaire to our colleague.
- We welcome all your suggestions for improvements and appreciate your feedback on our crew.
