Life on board
With four sails and an experienced crew, the Yaselam sails beautifully. Indeed, it is only
when you see the Yaselam under sail that you fully appreciate the craftsmanship of the
boat and the seafaring skills of the captain and crew. From Bodrum in the west to Mersin
in the east, the captain knows the Turkish coast intimately and will take you to qulet
anchorages for some of the best swimming in the Mediterranean.Ya Selam has done the
islands of the Dodecanese are regular ports of call.
The Yaselam has flexible accommodation – 4 double cabins, 2 of which are twins. Each
cabin has its own superior private facilities. Air-conditioning is available for the hottest
months of the year. There is a very comfortable saloon and bar, but meals are usually
taken al fresco on the shaded rear deck. The big refectory table easily sits 12 guests. The
experienced cook prepares excellent Turkish food and is always happy to meet special
diets or produce specific dishes.

s stringent maritime safety regulations and is
comprehensively insured. For the captain, safety is of paramount importance and the boat
has fully up-to-date safety and navigation equipment.The size of the storage tanks allows
the Yaselam to go several days without re-fuelling or taking on water. The boat carries a
windsurfer, canoe and snorkelling equipment, and arrangements can be made for water
skiing.
